Transmission Fluid Exchange Service

Transmission fluid lubricates and cools the transmission and helps provide hydraulic pressure which aids in transmission gear changes. Transmission fluid degrades overtime and can cause damage to your transmission. This service includes the removal of the old transmission fluid by removing the drain/fill plug. Next the drain/fill plug are reinstalled. New automatic transmission fluid is added to proper level.

Transmission Filter Replacement

A routine transmission filter change can help keep your transmission clean and healthy, preventing premature wear and damage.

This service includes the removal of the transmission pan. Removal of old transmission filter and replaced with a new transmission filter. The old pan gasket is replaced with a new gasket and the pan is reinstalled. Transmission is refilled with new automatic transmission fluid to correct level.

Automatic Transmission Filter Replacement and Fluid Exchange

Automatic transmission fluid cools, cleans, and lubricates the transmission internal components. Transmission fluid also enables the transmission to function by maintaining hydraulic pressure. Over time the additives in the transmission fluid can become depleted.

Removing the transmission pan, removing the filter, and replacing it with a new filter. Remove and replace old gasket material with a new gasket. Reinstall the transmission pan and refill the transmission with new automatic transmission fluid

to correct levels.

Manual transmission fluid provides lubrication to shafts, bearings, gears, and internal components. Pressure, friction, and heat can cause the additives to slowly breakdown in the manual transmission. As the gears wear, small pieces of metal may come off and get mixed with the fluid. Water contamination can also be a problem. This service includes draining the old manual transmission fluid and refilling the manual transmission fluid. A complete transmission service includes removing the pan if possible and replacing or cleaning the filter or screen. Clean the pan and reinstall the pan with a new pan gasket.
